Boat Accident In Gulf Shores

A boat ran into a piling of the old Gulf State Pier in Gulf Shores around 8:30pm. Fire Marshall Keith Martin with the Gulf Shores Fire Department says a pleasure boat hit a piling of the old pier at Gulf State Park. According to Martin a 7 or 8 year old child was knocked unconscious during the accident and has been flown by Life Flight to Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola. Four other adults in the boat were found covered in fuel from the vessel and taken to South Baldwin Hospital in Foley. Martin says the adults had minor injuries and were all able to walk around. First responders from Alabama Marine Police, Orange Beach as well as the Coast Guard assisted in getting the boat back to shore and treating injuries.

you must not believe in god, do you? Or maybe you have never been in a situation where you really needed him? Well I have and you know what I know that he is there-
I dont necessarily think that if someone dies in an accident that not enough people prayed BUT I do believe that there is a GOD and that he answers prayers and that he is there in your time of need!
Try it you might like it!!!!! You might see that all of your bitterness go away.
Dont you think that the families have been through enough with out you making all these ‘stupid’ comments? Why would YOU want to add hurt to them? We are talking about families that could have very well lost their loved ones and still many of the men have long roads of recovery for them…then they have to read all of the ugly things from you ===Man… get a grip on life as well as your self and leave well enough alone!

if fish4fun is who i think he is. he should tell us how 120 ft.-boat can hit another 150 while pushed up on the bank of a bayou

Maybe this person needs to find God in his/her life so that he/she can see what wonders he can really do!
In all the years that my brother has been a firefighter he has never been injured until now…I pray for him each and every day that God will be with him in any situation that arises ...so far so good. I can not imagine what the families are going through because of this accident -
I live in Georgia, I wish that I was there to hug my brother .......
I am so thankful that he is ok
and wish only the best for the other injured!
Fish4fun…leave well enough alone and god forbid you EVER have to face something like this! :(

Thank you everyone for your prayers and support, please give the rescuer a big hug from me too. Maybe what this person does not understand is we thank God for our family members being here with us, God saved these men, with some help from the rescuers. To fish4fun, 5 people almost lost their lives on that boat, and the rescuer’s life was also put in danger, all because of no lighting on a pier. I have been told, but have not seen, that the state has now put lights on the pier. I am very thankful for this also. If you cannot refrain from being a smartelic, please do not write anymore. And I hope you never have to expierience anything thing like this in your life..
