JACKSON, Miss. (AP) - A $5,000 reward is being offered by theFBI for any information that will help agents arrest and indict a
man suspected in the robberies of three Gulf Coast banks.
Authorities are calling him the "Billy Goat Bandit."
The FBI says he's described as an "unkept" white male, with a
goatee, wearing a blue baseball hat with yellow writing.
He is believed to be between 40 and 50 years old, 5-4 and about
140 pounds.
Agents suspect he was involved in the following bank robberies:
People's Bank in Gautier, on March 7.
Central Progressive Bank in Slidell, Louisiana, on March 12,
where he was believed to have left in a white pickup truck.
Beach Community Bank in Fort Walton Beach Florida, on May 9.
