Beach Plane Crash

PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. (AP) - One man is dead and a woman is injured after the plane they were in crashed in the water off
Panama City Beach.

Bay County, Florida, authorities say the plane went down yesterday afternoon after it lost power.

Sheriff officials identify the victim as Robert Gans. His age isn't known.

The female survivor is 21-year-old Jennifer Messer. She was treated at a hospital and released.

Both are from the Panama City area.
