He's afraid for his life and doesn't want to tell us his last name, but Corey says a visit to the New Horizons Credit Union Friday in Foley turned into one of the worst moments of his life.
"As soon as they came in, they told everybody to put their hands up," says Corey. "We weren't sure if they were joking, but then they fired a shot and we knew they were serious."
Two men robbed the bank at gunpoint Friday afternoon. Customers inside the store were ordered to the ground.
"My heart was pumping against the cold floor and beating so hard, I was nervous," says Corey. "A lot of people say nine times of ten, they only want the money, but I knew these guys had a couple of screws loose by coming in and robbing a bank, so you never know."
Foley detectives believe the two men could be the same suspects who pistol-whipped and beat a clerk at the Chevron Gas Station on Highway 59 last month.

Well maybe they should look at the woman who turned herself into Mobile Police for the robbery of Marshall’s she seemed to think she was doing her walk of fame instead of a perp walk. It is a shame that the man in the article and all those others that were there that day will have the emotional scars and baggage caused by this senseless act. There is not only physical pain inflicted in situations like this but also mental and emotional pain.
It is a shame what our world is coming too, PEOPLE PROUD TO HAVE DONE THE CRIME AND OVERJOYED TO BE PARADED OUT IN FRONT OF THE NEWS CAMERA’S IN HANDCUFFS TO THE POLICE CAR…..
I hope they catch those responsible for this robbery and I hope that they are made an example of. People we as a society have to do something to stop this insanity.
