The Baldwin County Health Department says on March 6, 2008, a mechanical failure at a wastewater plant resulted in sewage being discharged into Wolf Creek. The health department urges residents to exercise caution if using Wolf Creek for recreational purposes. Also, thoroughly cook any fish or seafood caught near by and wash hands after handling fish or seafood. For details about the spill, call Riviera Utilities at 943-5001.
