The reason the girl may be wearing the coat is because this apparently happened back in March 2008.

Is it just me or did anyone else notice that the short black haired girl in the mug shots pictures appears to be wearing a heavy winter coat with fur lining in the hood???? I just thought it was August in the deep south???

MeAmerican, lol talk about a bleeding heart. no i am not a clerk. but i am very very close to someone whose life was forever changed by a armed robber who came in with the intent to kill. no these girls do not have my sympathy. as for self centered i suggest you take these girls and look in the mirror.

Petal this must affect you personally since you are clerk yourself. Though for you to call someone self centered is kinda funny do to your MANY self centered comments.

(cont.) in our society, I felt uneasy.  Now seeing what has happened and how close I was to the tragedy, though just by chance, I will not make that stop again.  One more thing that I choose not to do out of fear for my own safety because of people’s desperation and stupidity.  Another thing that I will not do in this crazy world is take my 7 year old son into a fastfood restaurant.  When I see where a McDonalds has been robbed all I can think of is how many children were witness to this act?  How would I feel if my son were injured or killed for a Happy Meal?  Stupid choices like what these 3 young ladies made are the reason people like me cannot feel safe in certain places.  So no I do not think that you have learned your lesson, you are self centered and self serving.  Apologize to the clerk and the store owners; apologize to the innocent customers who were subject to your terror; apologize to your families who taught you right from wrong.  Then maybe I will believe you have learned

rosepetal:  good point.  I will not condem or condone what these girls did, you however cannot convencince me that this was just a stupid mistake.  You cannot turn on the news without hearing of a hold up at some store or fast food joint.  This was not simply a poor decision, this was a dumb a$$ idea that the girls knew was wrong and dangerous but went ahead and done it anyway.  Last Tuesday night when I got out of night school I stopped and got gas in Meridian, MS shortly after 9pm.  I found out 2 days later that sometime between 9 and 10 pm the owner of the station was killed in his store.  His body was not found until the next morning at 6:30 when someone stopped at the store and it was locked and they contacted police.  The sad thing is, I had a bad feeling when I pulled up there to get gas but had to have gas.  I was uncomfortable just stepping in the door to pay for the gas.  I was by myself and did not see anything out of the ordinary but just because of all the stupidity in
