Spanish Fort Elementary School students will head to class at churches across the Eastern Shore Wednesday. Back to School Tomorrow

Spanish Fort Elementary School students are out of class for a second day while workers try to remove lead paint from the school. The lead paint was discovered while crews were sandblasting over the weekend. The students will return to class tomorrow at churches across the Eastern Shore. 6th grade students will meet at the Bay Community Church across from Lowes in Malbis. 5th graders will meet at Faith Family Church on Highway 31 in Spanish Fort. Kindergarten through 4th grade students will meet at the Prodisee Center in the Rite Aid Shopping Center. The Prodisee Center is run by Spanish Fort United Methodist Church. Buses will take the children to and from the churches. Spanish Fort Elementary is expected to be closed for ten days.
