Just before 8:00 p.m. Thursday, a baby shoe was discovered near the Fowl River bridge in south Mobile County. The Mobile County Sheriff's Office confirms the find, but are not sure if the shoe is a clue in the case of four children who were reportedly thrown off the Dauphin Island bridge on Monday.

Mobile County Sheriff's Office Spokesperson Major Chad Tucker tells News 5 that someone called authorities with the find. Tucker says this call shows that people living in the area near and around Dauphin Island are watching for anything suspicious that could be related to this case.
