After responding to a domestic violence call, Brevard County police were shocked to find a 7-month-old-baby boy in an active meth lab. Authorities say the baby's mother, 26-year-old Donna Yates ran a meth lab out of a home she shared with her husband and a roomate.  Deputies found equipment and chemicals used to make meth, in addition to over 100 grams of the drug.  The baby was rushed to a local hospital, and the three adults are in police custody.

I’m still sorry but making a CHOICE to engage in illicit activities is not a disease! A disease is not something any half intelligent person would seek upon themselves. Now if you would like to class addiction as a mental disorder then I would agree.

I’m thankful that some cherish my right to an opinion despite the fact they disagree or even find it offensive. My feeble attempt at humor in my comments are obviously taken out of context.

“ Holier than Thou” not me because this is NOT about me! Radical? Maybe but not humdrum! and I’m definetly not JESUS.

I wish you all a happy New Year and may ya’ll be blessed richly!

Jesus, MeAmerican. A little radical there do you think? And just so you know, the little “holier than thou” attitude you have right now offends people and makes them not want to read your comments. It was that attitude that drove me personally from the church, just fyi.
Second, addiction being a disease? Yes and No. It is not a crime in itself. The actual “doing” of the drugs is a crime, but these people need help. Not jail. Putting someone guilty of drug abuse in a prison cell with someone who is in jail for rape or murder is never a good combination. Putting these “criminals” in facilities where they will get the most help is honestly the best way to go about things. But of course our government would never actually “help” in those kinds of situations… our tax dollars are better spent on new cars and cigars.
And also, fyi… the media has a HUGE tendancy to over exaggerate things and make the community believe things with twisted words.

You have a difficult time staying on topic. And much of your statements make little or no sense. You say I am a lost individual. And you were able to make that determination based on a few messages , huh. You are either a great psychic or just very opinionated. I seem to see the later as the more accurate choice. In addition you wish all the real people happy holidays yet you addressed the message to me. You are good at attacking others unprovoked though, must be former military too right?  I will end the thread here!

No such thing as luck, PAL! There is a purpose and season for everything. I’m so sorry you’re such a lost individual. I will say a prayer for you tonight!

Beware of not only the thought police but the ex-police also!!

1 Thing police, teachers, and liberals have in common is that 99% of them give the rest a bad name!!

I’m not out to stop anyone from anything, but rather to maybe add a little insight to how twisted and corrupt their views really are! Obviously sir, you are a lost cause as is much of this diluded society.

Now if you will excuse me I would like to wish all the real people a Happy New Year! May you all be blessed richly!!

I don’t place much stock in the media. They all have an agenda as with all humans. We all act or do not act to affect our own agenda. I know my self very well. And Jesus had nothing to do with that. I don’t take much stock in religion either. It has been the catalyst for many of the world’s historic wars and acts of genocides. So it cuts no ice with me. People shouldn’t place stickers on poles and benches , but good luck in stopping them. Maybe you should look at America Freedom to Fascism. You can download it on google for free. It takes a very close look at why things are the way they are. It was so revealing that it was banned from being shown in US theaters or from being rented at movie rentals stores. Good luck with life

Cancer is a disease. HIV is a disease. Addiction Is NOT a disease. Of course these medical professionals claim its’s a disease because there is big money in justifying peoples choices. And yes people do get help and in some cases it actually takes. In almost all of those cases it’s because the makes a cognent decision to have a better life. And in the majority of those situation the individuals accepts Christ as their saviour and asks him to change them.

Yard signs are legal ( against better judgement in my opinion) it’s the stickers tha adorn so many light poles, benches, and other immovable objects around town.

As for being ready for change maybe a fine place to start would be with thy own self and try to see past your indoctrination by the media and the scare tactics of government and society.

Sir I did not call Mr. Paul a whack job ( re-read comment) Only his band of misfits.

Addiction is a disease ,The journals of of numerous medical professionals state that this is so. There are treatment facilities that provide care for those addicted and many do well after treatment. As a former police officer I have seen choices that people make , both good ones and poor ones. Good people make poor choices all the time, bad people continue to make the same choices and are rewarded for those choices in some cases. Yet some are nailed to the wall for one non violent choice and will pay for it the rest of their lives . Clearly there is a disparity. As for Dr. Paul I couldn’t say if he is a wack job or not I don’t know the man nor have I ever met him, and I am not sure what a wack job is anyway? I do know I have heard what the man has said and he makes more sense than the rest of the phonys and liars I have heard regurgitate the same tripe year in and year out. I am ready for the change. I don’t know what you mean by littering communities. Yard signs are legal!

Addiction is NOT a disease, It is a choice! If you lived on a island where there was no meth you could NOT get the addiction. I don’t care how you rationalize, justify or minimize these people’s actions it all boils down to choice. When any person makes the choice to manufacture, sell, or use these illicit bathtub created drugs they sould be tried and punished accordingly.

Now let’s explore the fact that a child was involved. Or better yet let’s look at the misfits of ron paul supporters. ron paul may not be a whack job but the people who support and litter communities and attempt to force feed him certainly are!! Get a clue and realize you are insulting more people than you are gaining.

Everybody have a very Merry CHRISTmas and may you be blessed richly in the year to come. With love and respect I’m out!!
