An Escambia County, Florida teenager says someone tried to kidnap her on the way to school, but she fought him off. The girl was on her way to Tate High School when she says she hit something in the road near the intersection of Nine Mile Road and Pine Forest Road. She says when she got out to see if there was something stuck under her car, a man stopped, too.
She says he was driving a black truck and there were three other people inside. She says the man asked to help her. She said no thank you and tried to leave. That's when she says he grabbed her. The teenager says she kicked him in the groin... and was able to get in her car and leave.
The suspect is described as white male, with dark hair and a military style haircut. He was very tall and thin and was wearing a gray shirt and shorts. If you have any information, call the Escambia County Florida Sheriff's Office.
