The Baldwin County sheriff says two men arrested for stealing guns tried to start their own gang.
A SWAT team stormed an apartment on Henrietta Fulford Place in Gulf Shores Friday, arrested four people, and confiscated nine guns
Jimmie Avera was charged with receiving stolen property.
William Roberts was arrested on existing felony charges related to theft.
Deputies also arrested two juveniles.
Baldwin County Sheriff Huey "Hoss" Mack said group members admitted they were trying to form a gang, and called themselves "One Love."
Mack said, "We don't believe there is any connection to any national type or regional type gang. This was something they were forming literally among themselves. But once again, they were trying to become an organized cell. We believe alcohol and drug use was going to be involved in this as well."
Mack says the investigation into the group began a couple of weeks ago following two burglaries.
