Alabama Colleges Among Best in the Country

According to U.S. News and World Report's latest rankings, Auburn and Alabama are among the top schools in the country. The magazine ranked schools nationwide based on several categories including graduation rate, student-to-faculty ratio and financial aid resources availble to students. But which school comes out on top, "Roll Tide" or "War Eagle"?

Ivy League schools dominate the top 5:
1. Princeton
2. Harvard
3. Yale
4. Stanford
5. University of Pensylvania

Alabama and Auburn made the top 100:
91. Alabama
96. Auburn

Three other schools in Mobile are among the best places in the South to get a Master's Degree.
11. Spring Hill
53. University of South Alabama
56. University of Mobile

Several other Alabama schools made the list, including Tuskeegee University. The school was ranked 8th best Baccalaureate College in the South.
