U.S. Border Patrol Agents say they have arrested 17 illegal aliens and 2 drivers following a traffic stop on the interstate.
A white rental van was pulled over on east bound I-10 near the Grand Bay exit around 6:30 this (Thursday) morning. Inside, U.S. Border Patrol Agents say they found 17 undocumented immigrants and 2 drivers.
Robert Fuentes is the Deputy Chief Border Patrol Agent for the New Orleans region.
Fuentes says one of the suspects in the van attempted to run away from the scene, but was captured a short time later on the north side of the interstate.
Fuentes says smugglers routinely use large passenger vans to transport illegal aliens and drugs from the Southwestern United States to the Eastern Seaboard.
He says they expect to find out where the van was going after talking with the suspects.

If we do not start to voice our opinions to our elected officials to get the border fence up and to fine the employers that hire Illegals they will still come and steal jobs from you and your children . Free fax or E-mail

If the illegal aliens do not have deportation orders that they have evaded then send them home. If the illegal aliens have deporation orders then they have committed a felony and deserve hard time in prison. Send the bill to the country they are citizens of and let them pay the bill.
SUPPORT, DEPORT AND ENFORCE. NO AMNESTY FOR ILLEGAL ALIENS! NO MORE ANCHOR BABIES! ONLY AMERICAN CITIZENS CAN GIVE BIRTH TO AMERICAN CITIZENS!

SEND THEM HOME!!! THEY COME HERE ILLEGALLY, LIVING 5-15 TO A MOBILE HOME AND ARE TAKING OUR JOBS BECAUSE OF THE LOW WAGES THEY ARE BEING PAID. How did they get across the border to begin with? Your right WLB about paying taxes for them. I have done payroll for some companies and they pay no federal taxes nor state taxes. If that was us we would be in jail…........

if they wont to work give them two years of hard labor…send them back and next time give them5 yrs. of hard labor..see how they like working for free..im tired of paying my taxes for them
