Mobile police arrested 15 people during 2-day undercover prostitution over the weekend. Police targeted escort services advertised in the newspaper and on the Internet.

Most of the arrests were related to prostitution, but some were charged with drug offenses including possession of marijuana.

Below is a list of the people arrested, their ages and the charges they face.

Steely Banks (33) - Distribution of Obscene Material, Possession of Marijuana First Degree and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Karen Kelly (52) - Possession of a Controlled Substance and Drug Paraphernalia

John Domanoski (51) - Promoting Prostitution Third Degree

Svetiena Nemkalva (22) - Distribution of Obscene Material and Soliciting Prostitution

Shanda Avery (31) - Distribution of Obscene Material and Soliciting Prostitution

Lynn Smith (35) - Soliciting Prostitution

Jessica Weaver (22) - Distribution of Obscene Material and Soliciting Prostitution

Tony Lee (19) - Possession of Marijuana Second Degree

Sherri Thompson (41) - Distribution of Obscene Material and Soliciting Prostitution

Susan Touart (52) - Promoting Prostitution Third Degree

Kasey Anderson (18) - Soliciting Prostitution

Jennifer Beckwith (32) - Distribution of Obscene Material and Soliciting Prostitution

Jeramy Hallmon (24) - Loitering for Prostitution

Janet Driggers (45) - Distribution of Obscene Material and Soliciting Prostitution

Sylvester Pugh (44) - Promoting Prostitution Third Degree

to southern pride and kxvx i live on dog river in what is supposed to be a fair neighborhood and have been robbed four times not in my house but when i put up security cameras they stole them the same night before i hooked them up to the system,they beat my dog with a golf club and if you leave anything outside for more than two hours you can kiss it goodby,i am so glad there are no hookers walking on my street,way to go mobile.

T you have got to be kidding me? You called in a robbery and they told u they couldnt do anything about it. I just can not believe the mobile police dept. oh u must also live in Precinct 4 area. they do little or nothing to help anyone out.

Sex toys are not illegal. “Genital stimulation devices” are…you can still buy “massagers” as long as they don’t actaully look like a penis.

I guess maybe if they would not have made the sex toys illegal, they would not have this problem. OMG, you’d have to be pretty desperate to want to pay ANY of them women for sex.That’s the ugliest group of women I ever seen in my life. You should show these pics to your young daughters, and tell them that’s what they’ll look like after years or CRACK and METH abuse.

that is all they can catch,i called for them on a robery in process and they arrived forty seven min. later and would not ck it out because it was not my house.i was told you can not call in someone elses robbery,i told them they were at work and he drove off.

Hey City of Mobile, MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS!!!! get all the murderers and drug dealers off the streets first, then maybe the prostitution will die down a little. I have lost faith in Mobile now, I mean, if they care more about the prostitution then the murders or the drugs, then we need new county and city officials.
