Wednesday a huge slab of marble fell from the tenth floor of the building and landed on a rental car and SUV.
Friday News Five found a section of the parking lot next to the building off limits.
City inspectors put up metal barricades and caution tape just in case anymore slabs of marble started falling.
One many who did not want to be identified says everyone is just puzzled on how this could happen.
"Obviously it's a freakish thing but you kind of wonder why because it was nothing that I know of that would perpetrate it. It just seem to pretty much happen on its own. With a lot of these slabs on this building, all over the building, just kind of makes you wonder when the next shoe is going to drop," said unidentified man.
We were told the building's owner John Toomey met with city inspectors and engineers Friday afternoon to try to figure out how to fix the falling marble problem.
No word yet on when the repairs will be made.
