Steve Alexander - Reporter Steve Alexander is a member of The News 5 Investigative Team. He has won a Mobile Press Club award for investigative reporting.

Steve has also been a weekend anchor at WVUE in New Orleans as well as a weeknight anchor at KDEB in Springfield, Missouri and WTVW in Evansville, Indiana. prior to coming to Mobile, he served as news director and anchor at KAVU in Victoria, Texas.

Steve has also won several national awards including the George Washington Freedom Foundation Medal at Valley Forge. The Medal was for a story on the medical rRescue of children in Honduras.

Steve is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Loyola University in New Orleans and is a native of New Orleans. He is single and active in community events.
