Devon Walsh - Anchor

Devon Walsh - Anchor Devon Walsh is thrilled to return to her roots here on the Gulf Coast . After six years at Fox 6 WBRC in Birmingham , she is back at WKRG to anchor the morning and noon newscasts.

Devon got her first taste of the news business as a teenage intern at WKRG. After graduating from the University of Notre Dame, she started as an assignment editor/reporter at WKRG, and later anchored the evening news with Mel Showers.

While in Birmingham , she anchored the late news at the top-rated, Fox 6 WBRC. She was recently honored by the Associated Press and the Alabama State Medical Association for her Fox 6 Family Health segments, and by the Easter Seals organization for community service.

Devon and her husband are excited to raise their baby boy surrounded by family here along the Gulf Coast . She looks forward to eating fresh seafood, shopping for antiques, and showing her little boy all the outdoor treasures along our shorelines.
