GULF SHORES, Alabama - Tropical Storm Ida has everyone's attention in Gulf Shores.
Jack Morrow "I think it's just another tropical storm. It's not going to be that bad. I think it's pretty neat to watch the waves hit."
Morrow spent the morning at the beach taking pictures of an angry Gulf of Mexico and a rare, November storm.
Morrow: "It's wild, I like it! As long as it doesn't get any rougher than this, we're in good shape."
As the winds increased so did a steady, light rain. Much of Gulf Shores looked like a ghost town.
At Gulf State Park, vacations were cut short. Campers were forced to evacuate because of the wind threat.
The campground is empty but we noticed a few brave campers sticking around.
Bud and Lois Dusseljee are visiting Gulf Shores from Michigan. They say they'll leave if they have to. We feel very safe in this motor home so we're going to ride it out and if we have to leave, we'll get out of here."
