Despite the tropical weather outlook, it's just another day at the beach in Pensacola. Folks were taking in the surf and overcast skies today, 8/16/2009. Casino Beach was fairly full today even with the forecasts looking grim. Most people we talked with were more interested in enjoying the day than worrying about the storm. Still some people are getting a few things squared away.“Also make sure my vehicles are full of fuel and also I've got all my panels and everything I kept from previous storms if I have to put them up they're not coming down till thanksgiving,” says Pensacola resident Jimmy Strickland. Yellow caution flags were up at the beach. That means moderate to heavy surf for people getting in the water.
