A Reminder For Storm Supplies

Tropical Storm Home Depot  While it isn’t panic time some people were freshening up their storm supplies with tropical systems approaching.

The storm systems getting close to our area are a good reminder to replenish hurricane supplies. That's what a few people were doing at the Home Depot in Pensacola. A manager says they had a steady stream of people purchasing generators or batteries and flashlights. He says people aren't panicking yet.

“Well I think Pensacolans as a general rule are pretty savvy when it comes to storms, for the most part they're well prepared,” says Home Depot Department Supervisor Clifford Judd. Judd says they don't usually see a huge increase in business until we're faced with a category 1 or 2 hurricane.
