soggybottom, Bp up’d their advertisement campaign by several millions of dollars in the Unite States since July.
Why.. becaused Bp feared the loss of the American Dollar. Boycott.

lets just hope for a fast and speedy fix to what ever caused the problem and unlike the bp disaster lets get the problem fixed then worry about who or what caused it to blow, incase its leaking gas so we dont read about all of new orleans being evacked to safety, these little problems do seem to have a way of becoming big ones over night dont they.

Hi Greaseball… I hope so, too.  Please let it be an “easy” fix… relatively speaking.

soggybottom, Great link an posting.  I hope this isnt another beginning of a cover up.

Personally I dont have a problem with oil companies drilling in the Gulf, as long as its not done without using malice and or greed to raise company profits.
I do feel that if a company should take the risks in doing so and wrong doing is found, they sould be removed from drilling within the Unite States.

... Vermillion ... MILE LONG sheen.. in spite of early reports saying ‘no problem’, man

Vermillion:  53% natural gas

“According to the company’s 2009 annual report, Mariner Energy holds a 100 percent working interest in Vermilion 380. The rig produced 1.1 Bcfe total in 2009. It’s total proved reserves are 33.3 Bcfe, which is made up of 47 percent oil and 53 percent natural gas.”

Do your own research.

Fact. There are more producing oil wells that are capped than there are producing oil wells in production.

Fact. There is more oil in one field on the north slope of Alaska (Prudhoe Bay), than there is in all of Saudi Arabia and it is CAPPED.

The problem is not finding cheap affordable oil for the whole planet for the next 300 years +, the problem is trying to find new ways to HIDE IT.

All that you see going on in the GOM, has been a very well planned and executed conspiracy and just anther inside job by this government to further enslave its willing masses.

They are using these issues in the gulf to incite fear and uncertainty in the population and to use that to further their agenda of causing you and your loved ones to stave to death and or poison to death billions.

This is just the beginning of a game plan, that in the end, you and yours will not be participating in. To achieve a number of only 5 hundred million people as a maximum world wide. That about the population of the USA and Canada. Imagine everyone else dead and gone. That’s what they are imagining and that is their agenda.

google:” Georgia Guide Stones”. For a snap shot of what “they” have planned, do some research, read what the stones say. If you don’t already know about “their” agenda, that is because you are not part of the 5 hundred million.

There are nearly 7 billion alive at this moment on the entire planet. Do the math. Get prepared and have a plan at the ready.

thanks for the link greeseball it was complete with video, now we know it was not a drilling rig but a production platform that exploded, that answers alot, guess what guys, it seems the gods of oil have smiled upon bp once again, now if they end up with oil gushing as a result of jerking the bop off, that got a eascape goat, thay can pass the buck on to who ever ownes that platform. isnt life ironic.

Sorry for the double posting. I see Skosch is on top of this.  Great job Skosch

Oil rig explodes off La. coast.  This just came in on msnbc, http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/38973757/

well thers only one thing that puzzles me that is scense the drilling ban went into affect, that means no one is out there drilling, but as for the production rigs did it affest them aswell ?, and scense no drillers are out there it could not have been a drilling rig that exploded, unless they were drilling ina unlawful manner, eather way it looks like a reason for bp to keep applying corexit to the gulf of mexico, heack just go ahead and let bp put every drop of corexit that plant up north can make so the water will be protected for years to come incase we get more drilling accidents that result in spills. now we can justify all the chemicals being in the water i guess.

lol…  no prob..

lol yeah skosch you did, and i think you for shareing it with us.

i guess there going to blow rigs till we all decide to vote for obamas clean energy bill, but you know what, i dont care if they blow every rig in the gulf we still gunna get our oil we will just have to work a bit harder for it is all, and think about the new prospects that will open up to the every day average joe, just get a bucket and a empty barrorel and fill it while at the beach for a beautiful summer day, then you can haul it over to the refinery and sell it and make back what it costs to spend a day at the beach, that will bring the tourist back for sure.
