There are blocks and blocks of poverty areas in Mobile and Prichard that no one sees. Young black kids are growing up with no parenting. Crime and drugs are destroying this generation. They have no role models. Why are their parents allowed to abandon their own children? It should be a crime!

it aint just blacks that are poor there are just as many white poor people in mobile than there are blacks. i havent been living in alabama long just a couple years but i have seen black people at the food stamp office drivin brand new cars where do they get that. i know they say thier kids are retarded or something wrong with them to get the kids on ssi and they dont care what the kids do as long as they get the money then claim poverty which is a load of crap. They are either doing that or selling drugs. May be if they would quit thinking that whit epeople owe them something because of slavery there wouldn’t be this problem. they should all be sent to jail for the rest of there life . or get them all fixed so they cant have kids.

The young black population is out of control, Thier parents are to busy blaming everything on racism to see what they are doing to thier chiildren, instead of compalining they should be getting these kids in hand, making them go to school, dress decently and not be running the streets at all hours committing crimes. Its just so much easier to blame everything on the race card and then go back to collecting welfare and cocaine. Take responsibility for your kids. You had them, now raise them right!!

Hey its not just Mobile or blacks.  I live in Baldwin County am white and am just living pay check to pay check.

in this country we have a way of rewarding people through government give aways to do nothing...and place a hardship on people who are trying to do the right thing...if they passed a law that said if you don’t work and pay taxes you don’t get to vote...you would then see all the give away programs dry up...you see what i’m getting at...it’s like living with someone and not helping with expensense,or helping with household duties but wanting to be a voice in decision making or telling them what to do...it’s about politicians catering to people to get elected...what a great way to get votes...paid in full by hard working tax payers...it is what it is.
