Recently a few “bad apples” threw a concrete brick into the passenger window of an ambulance as it was responding to an emergency call in Prichard. The crew is ok, but when the glass shattered in their faces they thought that someone was shooting at them. The ambulance abandoned the call and drove to a nearby hospital. Ambulance crews are spread thin at times and because of these delinquents someone didn’t get the help they needed.
