I live in Greenwich Hills and am scared to leave my home.  There have been several shootings just in the last three weeks all in the same general area of the neighborhood.  After each shooting we have thought that we would see police officers in the neighborhood, but we have not.  This neighborhood has so much potential.  If we could just have more police patrol the neighborhood, it could make a difference.  This neighborhood can be saved!

I’ve had excellent assistance when I call the 311 system here in Mobile. You can also call them from your cell phone by calling 251-208-7999.  They seem to get the message across for you better than anyone else. Atleast they will connect you directly to the persons you should discuss this problem with.  Good luck to you.

Good luck. We have been trying to form a neighborhood watch in our city. We have received no help from the police department so we just unofficially patrol our neighborhood.

Most police departments have a community relations department that can help with setting up community watch patrols, and giving community education programs. Might want to check if your police department offers those services to help you.

DONT HOLD YOUR BREATH ON GETTING MORE POLICE PATROLS AS LONG AS THE RING LEADER AND HIS CLOWNS HAVE THEIR WAY

I have to agree. The police dept (MPD at least) seems to have other priorities than enforcing the law, but 311 seems to do good everytime I call.

I think there are a few people in MPD that actually do their jobs, but so much crime goes unresponded its a joke.
