LOCAL BUSINESS SELECTED AS SEMI-FINALIST FOR $1,000.00 SMALL BUSINESS GRANT FROM IDEACAFE.COM
Robertsdale, Alabama, Mary Thweatt of The Center for Autism & Asperger Resources, Inc (CAAR) has been selected from over 700 applicants as a semi-finalist in the running to receive a $1,000.00 small business grant from IdeaCafe.com, a top-rated website for small business.
The field of semi-finalists for this grant will be reduced to finalists and the winner will be determined by the vote of IdeaCafe.com's 32,000 members worldwide and announced online on June 24, 2008 on http://www.IdeaCafe.com
The Center for Autism & Asperger Resources, Inc. provides educational information, and a referral service for families affected by Autism Spectrum Disorders and Developmental Delay. The Center also provides support group meetings, educational workshops, seminars, and training for families, day-care providers, faith-based providers, home school families, school professionals, medical personnel, law enforcement, fire fighters, EMT/Paramedics, Emergency Room Professionals, and other social service workers.
Francie Ward, CEO of IdeaCafe.com, explained that the semi-finalists for this grant, Idea Cafe's Small Business Grant in Honor of Longtime Business Expert, Kent Capener, "demonstrate an inventive approach which will inspire others who come to IdeaCafe.com seeking advice on starting and running a business.
