Maybe if you could get some pictures or videos of them breaking the law that might give you some leverage with the cops.

Leave the people that is trying to have some cheap fun ALONG, and let them ride their toys.

And there you go.

Who was it on this board that said too many people have the BIC attitude?  “Because I can.” They hit the nail on the head.

Here someone is complaining - legitimately! - that people, and children, are breaking the law in their neighborhood.  Selfish, apparently angry people are trespassing on others’ private property, putting themselves and children at risk, ignoring helmet laws, and probably making a racket when people are just trying to enjoy their quiet neighborhood.  They’ve evidently tried to reason with them and requested police assistance...both to no avail.

And yet the perpetrators (or sympathizers) think they’re being persecuted for just trying to have fun.

Instead of going to have fun and breaking the law somewhere other than a private neighborhood which would make everyone happy, people with the BIC attitude think they should be able to do anything they choose, regardless of how it affects anyone else.

What a selfish fool.

nab, I don’t always agree with your post, but you hit the nail right on the head.  People being selfish and arrogant. I sure miss good ole common courtesy and respect for your neighbors.

If that was going on in front of my house, I would not be happy.  If it was going on in my front yard, I would be more than unhappy!

I’m having the same problem on my road. We live a mile down a dirt road that we have to maintain because the city can not decide if it’s private or not. My husband keeps the road fixed for us and the two other families that live there, at our expense of course. There are people that live further up the road, on the paved part, and they have children that own 4 wheelers and dirt bikes. Of course, they will not let the children ride in their own yards so they ride up and down our dirt road, making a mess of the road as they do their doughnuts and spin offs and what ever. We have also tried to reason with these parents and children but we get the same response. “Let them have their fun!” Sure, no problem, you come down here and keep the road graded once they are through having their fun. No respect!
