As for her husband's behavior - that was regrettable, but is also in the past. Hillary will have put this behind her by now. Bill wants to be back in the whitehouse as an advisor - he had better behave - I doubt that his health will permit shenanigans now. But if I'm wrong, She will throw him out - count on it.

Well, her husbands behavior was in the past...(or least non has been reported lately,..who knows what hes really up too and just hasnt been caught with) I doubt shes put it behind her. Few average housewives will say, "oops my hubby cheated on me mulitple times, but thats in the past and Im over it"..
However this isnt your average housewife. this is a woman who wants to be responsibile for the running of our country. If she has the poor judgement on accepting this kind of behavior from her husband. Then what else is she going to allow... maybe phantom donations?? Lies?? Story changes??
What he did reflects on her, having him, with his demonstrated lack of morals back in our White house is ridiculous. She didnt throw him out the first time. what makes you think she will the next?
Besides I heard, if she won, she planned to send him off to another country.. probably to get rid of him.

Hilary has had a host of her own legal problems IE the Whitewater Scandal. There are only two candidates that stand out to me McCain and Obama. Hilary cannot be trusted. I'm always so suprised at how everyone greets her husband with open arms after the embarrassment he caused this country. Hate to admit, I voted for him. I don't lobby for either party just who I think would be the best.

Obama is smart and driven and would make an excellent President. Unfortunately people can't get past the initial barbs that he's "inexperienced". The truth of the matter is he's NOT inexperienced. Anyone who wants to look at his record will find that out, but people are funny creatures. We tend to stick with first impressions and resist changing our minds about people and issues because truthfully, most folks pretty much have tunnel vision. Most people will create a mindset within themselves and it takes a lot to shake it loose.

And this is true with politics or just about any other problem or issue we're faced with. You can read comments from people on different subjects within this very message board and realize that folks are stubborn about what they believe...even in the face of evidence to the contary.

It disappoints me that human nature is the way it is, because that mindset keeps us mired in the past, stuck with old ideas that have no value, instead of letting go of those things that keep us from evolving and changing things for the better.

And then of course many who say Obama is "inexperienced" truthfully dislike him for other reasons which have nothing to do with inexperience and everything to do with racism and other nasty intolerances that some folks are ashamed to admit they still have.

After what Bush has done to this country over the past six years, it's difficult for me to believe that anyone would vote Republican this time around, and I hope I'm right. But my fear is that with Hilary's money and clout, the Democratic nominee may already be a done deal. On that point I hope I'm wrong.

He was thrown into this war and he is not solely responsible for everything that goes wrong. He is only one man and is privy to info the public is not. Clinton had Bin Laden in his hands and let him walk away, literally. Bush was left with a big mess of things, just like the next one will be. In a way, I'm curious as to how hilary would handle it. Don't forget she is a politician, she groomed Bill to be president. We have awhile to see things unfold, so we'll see.

Thanks Yvonne, its nice to see someone else actually willing to stick up for Bush..I dont think he has done all that bad at all. And hes sure had a lot of obstacles to overcome. And I think there is a lot of media slant... It would be a horrible mistake to let the Clintons in again.. I think the republicans want her to get nominated because they know she wont get elected.
Personally I think Obama is weak and kind of ineffectual..when we need a strong leader, I watched the REP debate a while back and actually kinda liked Huckabee. He said a lot of things that made sense. At first I was for Gullianai but the debate swung me off of him.

I hate to admit it but I don't know much about the other candidates. And I should. There is so much hatred in the world against Americans and if we as Americans are fighting amongst ourselves terrorists will have an easier job. They know this. I watched a documentary/special on how the terrorists studied Hitler and realized what a tool propaganda is. Our country has helped so many other countries with billions of dollars, and yet we're satan!? The media is very slanted, but there is one guy I love, Glen Beck. He is pointed out all the signs of other countries wanting to gang up on us but no one is listening (maybe they are hopefully.) We do need to unite as a country before we fall apart, and no matter who is president stand behind them.

I definitely agree that uniting as a country is a good thing, but disagree strongly that individuals within a country should continue to stand behind an ineffectual, dangerous president no matter what. That, after all, is why we have laws that allow impeachment...because sometimes the leaders that we choose fail to serve us as we'd hoped and need to be removed for the sake of the entire country.

Since Bush has the lowest approval ratings in modern history, it would be foolish to expect all Americans to support him. The dilemma before us now is to remember his mistakes and choose someone the next time around who is more willing to serve the people and our desires instead of always thinking he and only he knows best - even when members of his own cabinet and party disagree with him.

And truthfully, I think that's the real reason Bush is so incredibly disliked. Above all his mistakes and poor decisions and yes, lies to the American public, the thing we most can't forgive him for is his solitary march to his own drummer, forgetting that he represents us all.
