Enough is Enough !!!! Calling all drivers, we as a people need to take a stand raising prices based on speculation is not only injust it is called price gauging. I am organizing a week long protest to send a message that as a people we're not going to take it any more. There is power in numbers and that is what we need I can take all the help I can get. This protest will start May 25 and run through June 1. I'm not asking for signs or marchers I'm asking for non conformests willing to fill up on Sat. May 24 and go the rest of the week without filling up. If truckers can do it so can we. So come on all you Paul Revers, Robert E. Lees, Stonewall Jacksons, and George Washingtons. Let's take bake our towns, cities, states, and country. It's time to stop letting a few elite control the word.
If you want to help please start by spreading the word and you can reply to my post or contact me direct

I appreciate your passion and am as furious with escalating gas prices as you are. But I don't see how a protest like you've outlined will help. Even if every single person in our area refused to buy gas during your proposed time frame, come June 2nd gas stations are gonna hit the mother lode and everything will be right back to where we started.

When there is a commodity that Americans are required to use...not a superfluous expense, a "treat", a spree...something that the majority of us are REQUIRED to purchase, there is absolutely nothing we can do to fight back. Unless one is willing to ride a bicycle to work, carpool or use public transportation, they have us where they want us: over an (oil) barrel with our hineys in the air.
