That government fellow Mr. Bendover paid me a call. What really hurt was watching these folks ahead of me at the grocery store buy food with their vouchers or whatever, then buy beer and cigarettes with cash. ouch!
It does get old turning over most of your hard earned money to support things you disagree with and watch others milk the system for all it's worth. I've worked since I was a young kid and I have paid for everything I have gotten over the years. I own my home, I have no one using the public school system or any other governmental entity, yet I am penalized for being a responsible citizen.
Amen BamaBob. It is even more frustrating to know that some politicians support funding the dead beats even more, and those that actually work for what they have are going to penalized. Just like with the no grocery tax, I am all for saving money, but in the long run I think it will hurt my family. I have a feeling our income will be above the threshold, but by no means does my check book show that as I juggle every paycheck to pay the bills with little if any left over, and by no means do I consider myself well-to-do or rich. I surely don't buy steak and prime cuts of meat, etc that so many do with their EBT cards. BTW-did ya'll know they now have something called "government assisted" phone service? I have seen the signs on a couple of phone business, go figure! How else can I make your lazy life better?
