I just watched the video of Brooke and Castro on the Idol website and I liked them both. That kind of music is tough and not made for all musicians, but I thought they were both good. Syesha screams a little too much for my taste, but this was probably one of her better performances.

I didn't much care for Carly's treatment of that song either. Hmmmmm......... tough call tonight.

Who's performing tonight? Anyone? I would hate to see Brooke go, she is such a sweetie. But I think the competition will ultimately come down to David Cook and David Archuletta. Carly may be in the final 3, but I don't see her being an Idol winner, simply because I don't know about her overall appeal. Something about all those tatoos on her and her husband doesn't shout "role model" to me. But she does have a nice voice. David Cook and David A. are my fav's.

I'm glad Brooke got a break, because she did very well after the re-start. Carly went out on a high note.

I was on the edge of my seat the entire hour. But they all gotta go sometime. I'll miss Carly next week, but once again, it's hard to call anything absolute. I think the two Davids are going to go all the way, (and I hope I don't curse them by saying so, it seems everytime I call it, they get booted) but I am rooting for David Cook for the win. Once again, they are all very talented, so however it goes it won't be disappointing.

I was totally surprised at who the bottom 2 were. I felt for sure it would be Brooke and Jason Castro. I like Brooke' sweet, humble attitude. But vocally, I like David Cook and David Archuletta. I kind of hope David Cook doesn't win, because I think he may do better without being held to the Idol contract. Look how well Chris Daughtery and Kelly Pickler have done. I'm not as "into it" this year for some reason, so whoever, whatever.....

None of them can afford to have a bad night next Tuesday, but it is looking more and more like it will come down to the two Davids.

OK, Sayesha next week, Jason the next, and the two Davids to finish. Anybody agree?
