The competition has gotten so tight and each contestant has something different to offer. It is going to be tough watching any of these kids get the ax tonight... :(

I hear David Cook's brother (the one with brain cancer is supposed to be there tonight). I heard they raised like $80,000 to charter a private jet and provide the medical staff needed to get him there. I hope he will be OK sitting in the audience and not be exposed to anything that could make him sicker. I wonder how David will react with him there. It sounds like it may be a tear jerker tonight.

There is something magical about David Cook. If he doesn't win this thing, something is wrong with the phone lines. He could do a Greatest Hits CD just from his performances on Idol this year. None of the others are even in his league.

David Cook is awesome. And yes, I did tear up at his performance and when I saw his brother in the audience, and when he teared up at the end. Even if for some insane reason he doesn't make it all the way through, I believe he will do as well as Chris Daughtery, who probably did better by NOT getting the Idol title.

All the other contestants try to mimic the original artist. David Cook takes each theme that as thrown at him and turns it into a David Cook song that could be on the radio today!

I will have to check out David's performance on the website. ncis had another new one last night. Yea, if he was to put out a cd now, I would snatch it up. One thing about the regular networks, seems like they always schedule my favorite shows at the same time. I don't really care for the reality shows so most nights I'm sol on shows to watch. So who's it gonna be tonight?

It is a real tough call after watching all of them last night, but I think Carly is probably in trouble. She just doesn't seem to connect with her songs, or the audience. She also goes a little flat when she goes from mellow to scream.

I have reached the point where I watch cable news and AI. I do like 48 Hours Mystery, but the rest of it bores me unless there is a good special on.

I'm ready for Carly to go, Syesha too. Neither one is really great to me. On WABB this morning they were talking about the Dial Idol results, and the prediction was Syesha. David Cook had the most votes.

Guess Dial Idol was wrong. I really thought Carly or Syesha should have gone before Kristy Lee Cook. But I have a feeling, she will get a deal in Nashville, and we will see her again. Sure hope she gets that horse back!

Kristy will do okay with a little more experience and with the right songs. I thought Carly would be the one too and she wasn't even in the bottom three. Go figure...... It's anyone's guess from here on out.

I was thinking Syesha would get the boot. Kristy will be alright, I think Dolly liked her. I am an ole time rock and roller, don't listen to Mariah Carey very much, didn't like the song she performed, but she has an incredible voice.
