northcountrygirl - A very touching story you have and it makes an important point. Most of us were not products of planned parenthood. We just happened. We are part of a design that might seem haphazard at times simply because we do not understand the intent of something greater than what can be seen.

Nab - you are showing undeserved hostilities toward me. I started a topic in “World/National News” using a very inflammatory comment about abortion that was all over the media. I questioned its implication and asked others to give their opinions. How you turn that into “baiting” is a little beyond my comprehension. If you had known that those were Barack Obama’s words would you have changed your position on abortion? I am honestly not understanding your retort.

Not very many months ago this election season began with a promise to break down boundaries and become the season of change. That promise has faltered under scrutiny and now we are left with a residue of hatred and reminders of all things that are wrong with our society.

This election will go down in history for all the wrong reasons. It has awakened sleeping prejudices against gender and race. It has forgotten the importance of unification against our enemies and it has exposed our country’s frailties.

This is a shameful time in American history……
