I just saw the piece on the schools crying the blues because gas prices are up, utilities are up and so on. If they are hurting so bad for cash, why does a school on DIP have 6 custodians on staff? Is the principle hiring buddies? Pop in on a school and see how many of them you see sitting around doing nothing. Go by a refrigeration and AC parts house on Halls Mill Rd arond 2:30 to 3:00 and see how many school board service trucks are parked with technicians sitting inside waiting for get off time. Take a closer look and see the same technicians buying (with their money) parts and supplies for their side jobs on school time, tax payer time.

Privitatize those areas and see how much money would be left for overstaffed administrative folks to get raises.
