McCain is speaking from experience and being sensible about what should be expected with the war in Iraq. Obama has already made promises he had to retract, because reality and “pie-in-the-sky” are two completely different things.

You can kiss that Northrop dream goodbye, if the U.S. Senator from Illinois becomes your next president, because Chicago based Boeing will be pulling all the strings then.

You know, all that "experience" everybody keeps talking about is really overrated. We've had experienced politicians who were worthless and we've had inexperienced ones who were good. Inexperience can be overcome by surrounding yourself with smart, capable, driven, focused, caring people. Everybody knows the President is nothing but a figurehead anyway...that all the important decisions are made by a bunch of people pulling together toward a common goal.

I'd rather have a less-experienced President who can unite people with a passion that hasn't been seen in decades than a more-experienced warmonger who many equate to Bush.

The Northrup deal will happen. No matter what else, what they offer is far superior to Boeing and common sense will win out. All the hoopla right now is just political posturing.

No need to let a little thing like experience get in the way of running a country……
