I would like to see mention on the news of the regional Math Counts competition that will be held at the USA engineering building on Feb 9.

Teams and individuals from middle schools all over Mobile & Baldwin will be competing at this event.

Celebrating its 25th anniversary, MATHCOUNTS is one of the most successful education partnerships involving volunteers, educators, industry sponsors and students. “

Athletes seem to get a lot of airtime. Can academically gifted kids be encouraged as well?
