Circuit City held a contest for their new Fire Dog. They got in nearly 7,000 entries and they picked 20 finalists. Each finalist named a humane organization. Derrick Dockery adopted a dog, Harley, from the Mobile SPCA. He entered him in the contest and he is one of the 20 finalists! How wonderful is that - our dogs have star power!

Here's the coolest thing - you can go online and vote for Harley at http://www.firedog.com/kodak and the Mobile SPCA will receive $1 for each vote cast for Harley, up to $100,000. If Harley wins we could also win $50,000!

We need everyone to vote for Harley. You can only vote once from an email address so everyone needs to get all of their friends, family and acquaintances to vote from their home and office emails. Please forward this to your email list and ask them to forward it too. This is the only dog from Alabama that got in the 20 finalists. We have 100,000 votes we have to muster to be awarded the $100,000. You can vote through January 26.
