Do you not read? I was in High School in the eighties, looking back the music and clothes were subject of many adult conversations at the time. Look at James Dean and his smokes rolled up in his shirt. Was that stupid? Don’t get me wrong, I don’t like the pants hanging down and the boxers showing either. But look at it this way, the police can catch them alot faster. Bottom line it is about standards, not normal vs non-normal. Who determines the guidelines for normal?

Livinging under the bridge by the Civic center is normal for some, but not for me… it does not meet my standards I have set forth in my life. If we were all what you call normal look at all the things we would not have - police, homeless, McDonalds, drugs, crime, war and we would all be wering the same clothes and living in the same style house. We are Americans, freedom is what our country is founded upon. We are not Cuba or China… we are FREE.  We have fought for our freedom, died for it. If you want a george Orwell 1984 type country then vote for Hillary.

How about you get your son to pull up his pants and quit acting like a thug!?

hummm… good thought… but actually he never did act like a thug to begin with..
a.) he has held a job since he was 16, hes 27 now and his family has not one time been on welfare.
b.) he has always dressed “normal” ie proper fitting pants and shirt, clean cut shave and bathed.
c.) has absolutely no criminal record at all, nor even so much as a parking ticket.
d.) isnt scary to others when hes walking down the street(though he dosnt do that much as hes normally at work)

so the thuggie title dsnt work here, sorry

BTW, I do read, and very well thank you( including Goerge Orwell ”’ Animal Farm’,
“all animals are created equal, but some are more equal than others”??)
Freedom is what our country is founded on..and common sense should be right next to that. along with consideration for others and the willingness to work for what you want, versus sticking your hand out for welfare checks.
.. as far as voting for Hillary… not a chance. The woman is a flake and liar.

well “really” i don’t think that ONE person decides what is normal and what is not, but i know that some people have gotten off the subject and tried to turn this lady’s problem into a political problem. i think that you, Sturgil, are just tyring to stir up a lot of crap, i have been reading everything that is on here, and in every one of your replies or comments, you are constantly saying stuff that looks like it would make other people mad,,,, so NO i didn’t go to collage or any of that and NO I’m not tyring to say that i know everything,, but that is just what i THINK. NO, i didn’t finish school, but i do know that i have a right to say WHATEVER I THINK,,,, SO THERE IT WAS. I’m not trying to cause problems, but i just had to say what was on my mind

Is that all? Why are you so mad? This is a cozy forum for us all to share our thoughts. If we are adamant about being right will close our minds to creativity. Think it over, with an open mind. I am not trying to stir things up, I am just trying to get people to think outside the box. If we change nothing...then nothing changes.

Thank you for your wonderful post, please keep posting.

[color=green] Ok Sturgil, Im stepping...There is no one deduction of the word “normal”..I do agree there, what is normal for one will not be for another....however there is the norm..which is generally how the majority work a solution. You mentioned the 80’s..go back to the 50’s..or more recently the goths..yes dress has always been an issue. radicals not dressing like thier parents or society thought they should...and the result of that was that they were selected to be “picked on, watched more than others, or by the authorities etc” ..
My point is that if you choose to dress out of the norm..ie baggy pants below your fanny, all black clothes and lipstick etc.., thats fine..but if you do dress as such, particulary in a manner that suggests lack of morals, potential for committing crimes. etc then EXPECT to be selected for that extra attention..whether it is right or wrong..who knows.. but it happens.
so if someone dresses like a thuggie.. then they should expect to be treated like one. Thats my point.. if you run naked thru a store… people are going to look at and judge you. like it or not, it happens. Watch TV Sturgil.. the news… how do the majority of those arrested for crimes look?  hummmm...like thuggies??  And then wonder why people who choose to dress the same get that sort of treatment.
BTW if you want a good article about what going to happen to Hilary if she gets president go to spectator.org and read the article by Jeffery Lord. “Payback for the Chicken lady”
