My husband responded to a call about a three year old little boy who had been injured when he was climbing on a dresser with a 27 inch television on it,the dresser fell over on him. the little boy then, began bleeding from his ears and spewed blood from his mouth like a volcano. The mother who is married to guy who is serving in Iraq, told my husband that her husband was scheduled to come home next week. My husband rode with this boy to the hospital. We are just wondering how the boy is doing, and if he is going to alright. We are praying very hard for this boy and his family,and we would like for everyone to do the same. The boys name is Jacob, and they live in Fowl River area.

Jacob the littie boy you are referring to is my sister-in-laws nephew. (My husband's, sister is mairried to the brother of the daddy.)
Anywhy Jake was kept in a medical coma untill last Sunday. At which time they took out all tubes ,to see how he would do. He held his own. So they slowly woke him up over this past week. He said his first words Today, Sat. 22 and is out of ICU. His daddy ,Josh, got home last Sat or it could of been late Fri night. There are no internal injuries that have been found. His eating was not going well, but i'm not sure if it was he would not eat or he could not keep it down. They don't know how much affect all of this will have on his brain. More swelling has to come down then there is the trama of it all. Mostly time ,love and prayer will help the most.

So please contenue to pray for the loving young family, Josh, a brave soldier fighting in Iraq for our freedoms. Doing his duty for his country and his family. Having to leave his unit to come home to possible tragedy. this young man has been though more than any man should at this young age. Pray for Amanda Jacobs mother. This is her only child, She blames her self for something that could of happen to any of us. An accident,plain and simply. Pray she will learn to forgive herself, and trust god has his hands around this situation. Althou on all acounts it does seem Jacob will live , how much of th "old" Jacob will be there is wieghing heavily on minds.
Please Pray for Jocob to heal with no pain. And as much of the "old Jake" comes back as possible. But also pray for acceptance of the "new jake" that might come out of this. Who will still be just as loveing. Still want to grow up to be just like ihis Daddy. Still want to go with his Poppy as much as possibile. Maybe he will not be such a dire devil, but thats not a bad thing.
