Interesting... Last friday night I used the "contact us" selection on the home page to request a change on the home page here. Haven't heard a word back... Hmmm... I am beginning to wonder if anyone is listening. And with the title of this thread you would think that someone at channel 5 would be sure to read it, yet there has been no acknowledgement what-so-ever about what has been said.
the "view new Post" tab is working it is based on cookies and show new post from the last time you visited the forum. If you have cookies disabled it will not work.

I went back through the emails and assume your home page request is about the ad on the homepage?
if so that is the same issue. If cookies are enabled for your browser then you will only see that ad once a day.
If you do have your cookies turned on and still are having issues please post here and provide what web browser and version and what Operating system you are using.
David, I have cookies enabled on both my work computer and home computer, and "View New Posts" always gives me the very same message on both computers: "Your search did not return any results".
MeAmerican won't have to worry about my ever commenting on his posts. I've just "ignored" him. I'll never see any of rants again.
Many years and lots of conversations on the nets have taught me not to suffer the writings of such people. They are not worth the time or effort.
David,
I do have cookies enabled. And since I usually, during the week, only get on here once a day then that means I'm going to see the add. Ok... Can the add be moved further to the right so that it doesn't cover up the text behind it? And thanks very much for the response, means a lot...
Wayne225,
can you tell me what OS you are running and what Web Browser version so i can try and reproduce the View new post problem you are having. Also does the "View Today's Active Topics" button work for you?
about the Ad. I cannot remove it but there is a close button at the bottom that will close it.
The Ad also should only display for 3 seconds.
Thank you for the quick action on the off topic post David, it means a lot when the moderators take an active interest in thier forums. I have found in the past that using the "Ignore" function is a very effective tool. It doesn't take long before the 'ignored' person realizes that since they are not being read, what is the use of writing and they go away.
