Last week on The View Obama said if Rev. Wright had not retired he may have left the church. Does that comment satisfy most concerns about the man's relationship with Wright, or does it just raise more questions?

The "soundbites" of Wright's rants were not taken from one sermon given on one Sunday on one date in the past 20 years. Those disgusting words came from a DVD sold by the church called "The Best of Jeremiah Wright." It seems very disingenuous to me for Obama to claim he would have left the church after all of this went public, if Wright had not retired. The time to question such messages is when they take place not when they get national attention.

Plus, it looks like Wright's replacement is going to carry on the tradition. So, what did Obama's comments really mean?

Just more of nothing. The talk he give sounds good, until you realize that is all it is-talk. He has not said one straight thing that I can remember. Every comment he makes is vague, evasive, an attempt to cover-up or to placate a situation.
