thank you northcountygirl for speaking the truth. I think it is great that we got the contract and that is why I posted. Then some jerk decided to complain that I said boeing was throwing a tantrum. Thanks for getting to the heart which is they just are afraid they may have to get out and work.

A differing point of view on the tanker controversy.

Now the argument can be made that as long as this process goes on, and as long as we can’t do anything about it, then Mobile should at least get its share of the “pie.” Well, fair enough, as long as you realize that just as the tide washes in, the tide also washes out.



Think about it, what will happen if Clinton or Obamma win? all of those newly created jobs will be lost and the local ecconomy will be even worse off. Even if the contract stays, there is no guarantee the jobs will stay here. With the dollar deflating against the Euro, the cost of the airframe to Northrop will keep going up that means they will have to cut somewhere and that means layoffs in Mobile.
