The airport is now within the city of Mobile? Won't this make flights more expensive than they already are, given higher taxes to pay? I remember looking for a flight from St. Louis to Mobile, and I discovered I could fly to Paris France cheaper than I could fly to Mobile. What's wrong with this picture? Why are their rates so uncompetitive? Annexing will only make the problem worse.

Sam Jones is a more clever politician than Mike Dow. Dow couldn't corral west Mobile in one swoop so Jones has figured out how to do it piecemeal.
