The Orange Beach Running Club runs every Tuesday at 6pm. We meet in the southern portion of the Orange Beach Marina parking lot. After running, walking. or crawling 3.25 miles, we meet back at Calypso Joe's for discounted beer and free appetizer food. After a runner or walker participates 10 times, they are eligible to receive a free member t-shirt. All ages and running/walking levels are welcomed. Tell all your friends! Little Lagoon Pass

I built a new home on a canal attached to Little Lagoon after Ivan destroyed my old one.
Part of that decision was based on having boat access to the Gulf.

I have been waiting to learn where the responsibility lies in regard to opening the pass.
Now that I find it is the State DOT I am hopeful that we will get some action.

Does anyone know if there is an organization in this area which monitors and works toward
improvements in the quality of Little Lagoon?

Alma Bryant H.S. 3-D Archery Tournament

The Alma Bryant H.S. Archery Team is holding a 3-D archery tournament Saturday October 6th from 8 am to 2 pm at the High School. The tournament is open to the public and offers archers of all ages and skill levels the oportunity to compete on thier newly constructed 3-D range. The cost is $15.00 for adults and $10.00 for youth divisions. Archers will compete against eachother in divisions based on age, skill level and bow type. Twenty-five 3-D targets will be avilable as well as a practice range. Come experience the excitement of shooting Bear, Deer, Turkeys and Lepords. This is a great oportunity for bow hunters to test thier equipment prior to the start of bow-season. Contact Roy Richardson at 251 455-9192.
