Texas is not that far away and there have been school closings and alerts have been issued for the Nation as of Saturday noon.
I guess it's a wait and see moment right now but don't plan on seeing me on a plane or in a theater anytime soon because the easiest way for it to spread they say is being in an enclosed area with limited ventilation or by contact with others.
It's a little strange hearing Government Officials asking the public not to panic while issuing alerts with the words "possible pandemic" attached to the statements along with a warning that it cannot be contained at this point. They say it may be too late.
On a lighter note I would like to mention a few ironies involving this situation just for fun.

Could it be that a Democrat recently flew to Mexico ( full of PORK belly spending) and was on a particular airplane with limited ventilation(where the flu is likely spread) that was involved in a BIRD strike mixing the PORK-BIRD-HUMAN genes together causing this Swine Flu? Now we have another taste of reality coming out of the Veterans Administration.

The Death Book for Veterans

"Your Life, Your Choices" presents end-of-life choices in a way aimed at steering users toward predetermined conclusions, much like a political "push poll." For example, a worksheet on page 21 lists various scenarios and asks users to then decide whether their own life would be "not worth living."

The circumstances listed include ones common among the elderly and disabled: living in a nursing home, being in a wheelchair and not being able to "shake the blues." There is a section which provocatively asks, "Have you ever heard anyone say, 'If I'm a vegetable, pull the plug'?" There also are guilt-inducing scenarios such as "I can no longer contribute to my family's well being," "I am a severe financial burden on my family" and that the vet's situation "causes severe emotional burden for my family."

When the government can steer vulnerable individuals to conclude for themselves that life is not worth living, who needs a death panel?
