If being injured in Iraq isn't hard enough, now 3 sailors recovering in Pensacola are dealing with another disaster. Christopher Bush, Stephanie Dolan, and Stephen Davidson we're looking forward to some much needed R&R. With their motorcycles in tow, they headed to Daytona Beach earlier this month for Bike Week. Only problem is their van, trailer, and all 3 of their motorcycles caught fire. It was a total loss. They decided to go to Daytona Beach anyway, they just came home with nothing but their T-shirts. Despite all they've been through, they're just thankful they're here to talk about it,"that fire went up so fast like within 10 minutes it was all engulfed, the trailer, the van, everything. I mean we are very lucky that none of us got injured. I mean, you know, nothing happened to us, and that's, life's most precious, so, you know, what can you do," said Dolan. All three sailors were looking forward to heading to Loxley next month for a motorcycle ride dedicated to Wounded Warriors, but now they won't be able to take part in the ride.

That was what I was kind of thinking.  I would have gone all out trying to get those bikes off that trailer, if at all possible.  Must have been some fuel stored on that trailer.

Yep,It’s hard to understand how the trailer burnt up and how fast the van went up.If it’d been my harley on the trailer,I probably would have looked like Nicolas Cage in Ghost Rider getting that bike off the trailer,if I couldn’t have disconnected it from the van.

thank goodness for the volunteer fire dept that showed up so quickly, in fact the trailer wasnt even on fire yet, unfortunately, they had no water pressure and could only stand there with us and watch it burn until the other fire trucks showed up. it just spread so quickly.

Hard to get a grip on how that fire spread so quickly from the van to the trailer.

no, the investigation is still being conducted but no reason has been found for the cause of the fire

Did anyone ever figure out what caused that fire?
