NAPLES, Fla. (AP) - A Naples woman is behind bars after throwing
an empty baby stroller at her boyfriend during a heated fight.
Police reports say 33-year-old Debra Hayes and her boyfriend,
Kevin Kelly, were arguing at their home Sunday night. She then
picked up an empty stroller and threw it at Kelly, cutting his lip.
Neighbor Edward Buck told The Associated Press that Hayes banged
on his door and was hysterical. She told him she was worried for
her baby. Buck says police have been repeatedly called to the
couple's home.
Messages left for a Kevin Kelly in Naples were not immediately
returned Monday.
Hayes is facing felony battery charges.

Florida is a messed up state. The entire judical system needs to be committed to the nut house. My son defended himself against a drug dealer who took his money. My son is in jail and the drug dealer on the street. Even after they found pot in the drug dealer’s dryer….He sure wasn’t using it for fabric softner. Granted my son should not have been in the company of a drug dealer, but he sure doesn’t need to be where he is now. I hope this poor lady’s family hires her a good attorney. Do not use a public defender…they are useless.

While this is comical,it is a sad time with all of the murder and drugs and sex offenders running around,this is what we are wasting our time on locking up.

Judging by the look in her eyes, I’d almost be willing to bet that this stemmed from an arguement over who was gonna get the final push off the crack or meth pipe! She looks like a real keeper!

Well, if she was going to get locked up anyway, she should have hit him with a cast iron skillet, I always found they worked the best.

Is Florida slowly becoming the state of “fruits and nuts”? Seems like a lot of anger there…several assaults with inanimate objects…sub-sandwiches, Burger King hamburgers, and now a stroller?
