Woman Hit By Stray Bullet While Sitting On A Toilet

Florida Tampa Janifer Bliss was sitting on the toilet when a woman in the next stall accidentally let her handgun slip out of her waist holster. The gun went off and a bullet hit Bliss in the lower left leg.

TAMPA, Fla. (AP) - Authorities say a bullet from a gun that was
accidentally dropped injured a Tampa woman sitting in a bathroom
stall.
Police say the bullet hit 53-year-old Janifer Bliss in the lower
left leg. She was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
Bliss was sitting on the toilet in a hotel bathroom when a woman
in the next stall accidentally let her handgun slip out of her
waist holster. The weapon discharged when it hit the ground.
Police say the gun belonged to 56-year-old Debra Monce who has a
concealed weapons permit.
The case has been referred to the State Attorney's Office to
determine if any charges will be filed.

Not everyone is as educated and trained well enough to carry concealed as we may want to believe. This article is proof of that and leaves me with a very uneasy feeling regarding concealed weapons in public.

However, there have also been articles where strangers have saved lives by taking out a person going postal!

A carry permit is kinda like the boat license test.Revolver five in a six shooter hammer on an empty cylinder, auto use the safety.

I could understand if the woman was seriously injured, but she was shot in the leg. Yeah it probably hurt like h**. No one got mad when we were making fun of the guy with the poop bag.
