i was watching the officer speak who lost his wife and daughter while he was chasing the idiot on a killing spree. when he said he would gladly take a bullet for the citizens of his community. that is a hero. most of our officers are not like these idiots. they should not be crucified just fired and treated like any other citizen.

oh of course not and im glad they were apprehended!........such behavior should never be condoned….my point perhaps badly made was that being drunk lowers the bar of behaviour to do what perhaps u would not have “normally” done. and being that they were both officers just raises the standard.

sad that officers would do that and they should deff. be punished, but if u are drunk u dont have all your mental capacity working…..im sure they both woke up totally and thoughly ashamed and embarressed.

Don’t forget they are human too, If you got fired for evrything you did while you were away from work, how many people would be working? Give the guys a break.

These guys are a pitiful excuse for an officer.  It’s guys like this that gives all law enforcement a bad name.  There is no excuse for grabbing a woman like that.  And yelling “I’m a cop” should only have embarrassed the cop.

More apostrophe trouble: “Both of the Crawford’s” is wrong. The correct version should be “Both of the Crawfords.” Apostrophes only rarely indicate plurality, signifying the naming of a word, letter, or symbol as itself in plural.
