I have been thinking the same thing concerned citizen, it seems as though because they had money these children would be taken care of regardless of the situation. I guess I just do not understand it either, a terrible thing to happen, I just cannot believe that these children would not be taken care of.

I don’t mean to sound cold hearted.  Yes, this was a horrible tragedy, but didn’t this couple have a huge estate and numerous businesses?
Is it possible that the children born to the deceased don’t think the addopted children should share in the inheritence and that is why they think the good people of Mobile (who probably are just scraping by) should donate to this fund instead of food banks, etc.,that are currently desperate for donations and serve many more people?
I think they may be using people’s heartstrings and sympathy so that ‘their’ inheritace won’t be used for the children’s future.
Is this really what the parents would have wanted?
I know this will probably offend some people. I certainly send my condolences. I know how it is to lose the wonderful people in your life.  I just don’t think this is right.
Thank you for letting me state my opinion.

The beauitful Angles Byrd and Melaine have went to heaven God please bless these children.
