PENSACOLA, Florida - Escambia County, Florida Sheriffs are investigating another murder, the third in less than a month. Deputies say 81-year-old Derry Dickerson of Pensacola was found dead in his living room on Crescent Drive around 7 o'clock Sunday morning. According to deputies, a family member discovered Dickerson after arriving at the home to take him to an appointment. The Escambia County, Florida Sheriff's Office says foul play was involved in Dickerson's death.

This is the third murder investigation in less than a month. Last week, Pensacola Police say 26-year-old Elijah "Eli" Siler was found lying in the middle of Wright Street and Eighth Avenue. Police say he had been shot several times. He later died at Baptist Hospital. Police have made no arrests in that case.

And a week prior to that murder, Escambia County, Florida Sheriffs arrested 19-year-old Terrance Edwards in the shooting death of 19-year-old Devon Pugh. Deputies say Pugh was found dead in the stairwell of the Sunrise Apartments on Fairfield Drive. Authorities say Edwards shot Pugh in the face with a shotgun.

If you have any information about the murders of Dickerson or Siler contact Pensacola authorities or Crime Stoppers at 433-STOP (7867).
